No matter where you fall politically, I think we can all agree to support the troops and their families. We recently witnessed the deployment of 3,500 soldiers from Ft. Bragg, North Carolina to the Middle East, which means that there are that many families now living day to day life without their loved one nearby. They're maintaining households alone, going to sleep alone, raising their children as a temporary single parent, often far away from their hometown, all while constantly worrying about their loved ones safe return.
"Deployed Love" is a non-profit organization run by military spouses that was created at Ft. Bragg three years ago to provide support to families who are dealing with deployments, especially rapid deployments like what Ft. Bragg just experienced. They host gatherings so that families of deployed loved ones don't feel so alone, and they also host photography events so that they can have family portraits made for their soldiers.
This year, they are hoping to expand to four more bases-- Fort Campbell, Fort Carson, Fort Hood, and Fort Benning. As such, they would greatly benefit from any financial donations that you might be able to bless them with.

Volunteering for these events is such a fun way to give back to the Military community that does so much for our country! We need lots of photographers each year, and tons of volunteers to allow our events to run smoothly and provide beautiful images to the families that attend.
