Aldi is all about helping shoppers cut costs, but the chain is also to cut down on its own bills.
Aldi is said to be cutting down on the number of lights turned on in stores to lower energy bills.
The chain also began using energy-efficient lighting in an effort to reduce energy usage by 10 percent.
The stores tested this method of energy-saving in four U.S. stores before making it nationwide.
