In a press conference, Darlington Raceway track president, Kerry Tharp announced new specialty license plates available to South Carolina residents. These new NASCAR and Darlington Raceway license plates will be available at your local SC DMV, starting May 15, 2023.
A portion of the proceeds from revenues from the new NASCAR & Darlington Raceway themed license plates will benefit DONATE LIFE South Carolina. In partnership with the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, Darlington Raceway created a variety of license plate designs, to allow racing fans to display their fandom.
Donate Life South Carolina is a charitable organization that is responsible for managing the organ, eye, and tissue donor registry. This organization is committed to saving thousands of lives, and assisting South Carolinians waiting to receive life-saving organs and tissue transplants.
There are four different racing specialty license plates that drivers can choose, all of which can be fully customizable to fit one's personality. Orders can be placed starting on Monday, May 15th.
