Tiger Woods has undergone surgery.
In a statement from his team, they said, “Earlier today, Tiger underwent a subtalar fusion procedure to address his post-traumatic arthritis from his previous talus fracture.”
They add that the doc “determined the surgery to be successful.”
The injury stemmed from his February 2021 car crash, where he injured his right foot, ankle, and leg.
According to experts, the surgery will probably keep Woods from competing in next month’s PGA Championship.
