While many fell victim to a snub from the Oscars, people were divided on Tom Cruise not getting a best actor nomination for his work on Top Gun: Maverick.
Tom didn’t receive the nomination like many predicted, however, Top Gun: Maverick was nominated for Best Picture, as well as several other awards, including Best Original Song.
Taking to Twitter, on said of Tom’s Oscar snub, “No Tom Cruise for Best Actor? I know the award isn’t for “Man most willing to be strapped to a missile and fired into the sun if it makes you 8 percent more willing to buy a movie ticket”, but at least give the guy a nomination!”
Another fan tweeted, “Tom Cruise was snubbed” was he tho?”
