US News & World Report ranked the top places to live in South Carolina. While no city or town in the Pee Dee made the top five, a popular vacation destination came out on top.
Myrtle Beach, while known for its beaches, has proven itself as a place suited for young professionals, families, and empty nesters alike. Myrtle Beach was ranked #37 on the national list for best places to live. It was also #25 for best places to retire.
