Kodak Black pleads guilty, avoids jail time

Kodak Black, also known as Bill Kapri, entered a guilty plea during his hearing today, in Florence County, in connection with a criminal sexual conduct charge.

The alleged assault happened in 2016 after a teenage girl reported the sexual assault to the school nurse, who later reported to the authorities. According to the complaint, Kodak took the teen to a hotel room took off her clothes, bit her, and raped her. Kapri pled guilty to first degree assault and battery. Kapri was sentenced to 10 years to suspended to 18 months probation, with the condition that Kapri apologize to the victim, take full accountability for what happened, apologize publicly, and seek counseling.

In 2019, Kodak Black was facing three years in federal prison after pleading guilty to weapons charges, however Kodak Black received a presidential pardon from President Trump for the weapons charge.
