Corey Ward, Hartsville, SC native, is now advancing to the Knock-Out Round of the Voice, on NBC.
It all began in Season 19 of The Voice, when he made it to the Blind Auditions, and didn't get one chair turn, and his mother was rushed to the hospital, however his luck turned-around, and Corey was invited back to Season 20! In the Blind Audition of Season 20, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend turned around for Corey, and we learned about his mother, who has been battling cancer. In the Blind Audition, we saw his family cheering him on, and in the end, Corey chose to join Team Kelly.

In the Battle Round, Corey Ward was paired up with Savannah Woods, and a dazzling performance of Fleetwood Mac's "DREAMS".
This was interesting, because this is a song that plays to the strengths of Savannah Woods, and would be a challenge for the rock edge of Corey Ward. Check out how they played harmonies and complimented each other vocally:
The Knock Out Rounds begin next week. Be sure to cheer on Corey Ward!
Tune in on NBC.
