Florence 1 Schools Is now enrolling children in free 4-year-old kindergarten classes. The Florence 1 Preschool Program offers rigorous curricula in both traditional and Montessori settings focusing on kindergarten readiness skills through hands-on learning experiences. To qualify, children must be 4 years-of-age by September 1, reside in the Florence 1 Schools attendance zone, and qualify for free or reduced lunch or participate in the Medicaid program.
