This New Year's Eve is unlike any other, and the CDC is urging people to skip the parties this year. Here are some alternate ways to ring in 2021:
- 1) Have a 'virtual celebration' - stay home and watch a virtual concert or New Year's special, or maybe even enjoy a virtual meal with friends and family.
- 2) Have a 'pajama party' - the great thing about staying home? No dress code! Kick back in your jammies and watch a movie or play a board game - maybe even order delivery or takeout.
- 3) Plan a 'front door countdown' - get in touch with your neighbors and stand at the front door to count down to midnight.
- 4) Get in touch with family and friends - the pandemic doesn't mean you have to cut off ALL contact with loved ones - give them a call, send a text, or share a video conference.
How are you planning to celebrate tonight? Do you typically go out, or is New Year's Eve always a 'stay home' holiday for you?
