Recap: 2019 MTV VMAs

Sebastian Maniscalco was the host of the 36th annual MTV Video Music Awards, live from Newark NJ.

Taylor Swift was a big winner at 2019 MTV Video Music Awards, winning Video of the Year Video and 'Video for Good' for "You Need to Calm Down.". 

Swift kicked things off with a performance of "You Need to Calm Down" in front of a giant rainbow, followed by "Lover."

Winners included:

Billy Eilish - Best New Artist

Shawn Mendes/Camila Cabello - Best Collaboration (Senorita)

Jonas Brothers - Best Pop (Sucker)

Lil Nas X won Song of the Year (Old Town Road ft Billy Ray Cyrus)

Cardi B - Best Hip Hop (Money)

Missy Elliott was honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, MTV's version of a lifetime achievement award.
