Olympic Swimmer Rescues a Man From Drowning

Olympic swimmer, Filippo Magnini, (2-time world champion and Bronze medalist in the 2004 Summer Games), is now being credited for saving a man's life on a beach in Italy, this week. On Sunday, newlywed, Andrea Benedetto was drowning off a Sardinian beach, when Magnini dived in to rescued him.

According to reports, Magnini beat the lifeguards to the drowning man, and held him above the water until rescue boats arrived.
