FLORENCE, SC—Help4Kids Florence was in for a big surprise as committee members from the second annual Florence Wine and Food Festival unveiled a check to the organization for this year’s proceeds, totaling $70,000.00. In 2018, the Florence Wine and Food Festival was able to raise and donate nearly $24,000.

The festival, held April 11-13, served up a menu of tasty events including Meat & Meander, an evening that highlighted local restaurants and focused on their preparations of grilled foods; the Sip & Savor Wine Stroll through Downtown Florence, where local businesses were transformed into wine tasting rooms; and the Final Pour, a five course gourmet meal prepared by local chefs using locally-sourced ingredients.

Florence Wine and Food would like to thank all of its sponsors, volunteers, participating restaurants and chefs, committee members, and event attendees for helping to make this year’s event so successful and for helping to facilitate the donation of $70,000 to Help 4 Kids Florence.

The Florence Wine and Food Festival will return to Downtown Florence April 2-4, 2020.
