All those who love golf and enjoyed playing at The Palms Course at Oakdale (formally know as Oakdale Country Club) won't be able to do so anymore. An employee with The Palms said the have closed as of this past Monday.
I am not sure if people with memberships will get their money back, I do hope so. Also no word on the reason for the closure and what they plan to do with the property now that it is no longer open. Maybe new housing? I am not sure, but as soon as updates come I will let you all know. For the story click the link below.
