We are so back!
Hot off the release of their first album in four years, Love Is Like, Maroon 5 brought the house down at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One on Friday (September 19), treating the Las Vegas crowd to an incredible performance of hits new and old.
Following an intro to Harry Belafonte's "Jump in the Line (Shake, Senora)," the band kicked off their career-spanning set with "Animals," from their 2014 album V. Illuminated with moody lighting of reds, greens and purples, infrared scenes of wild animals blended with live views of frontman Adam Levine singing before smoothly transitioning into the band's next song "One More Night."

Levine worked the crowd as he embodied the track, off 2012's Overexposed, strutting around the stage as he vowed to stop coming back for more despite a "dysfunctional" relationship.
The band took fans back to their 2002 debut album Songs About Jane with "This Love," Levine putting a modernized twist on the track view new runs and jazzy notes. Running around the stage, he hyped up the crowd, kicking the energy up a notch before getting the entire arena to sing the chorus, rounding out the song with an impressive guitar solo.

After treating the audience to one of their newest songs, "Love Is Like," a speak-singing track about how much adoration he has for the person he loves, Levine revealed that the group wanted to do "something special" for the crowd to end their performance on a high note.
Hinting that it was "an old, old song" that they don't often perform at big shows and one that is "special" to the group, he and guitarist James Valentine performed an acoustic rendition of "She Will Be Loved." The crowd was loving the performance, grooving along to the smooth tune as Levine crooned the Songs About Jane track. Rejoining with the rest of Maroon 5, they did a final chorus with the full band to conclude the set.
Maroon 5 is fully in an exciting new era with the band's eighth studio album Love Is Like, which dropped August 15. They are also going on tour in support of the record, hitting the road in October with special guest Claire Rosinkranz. The group is even enlisting the help of fans to create a "really special moment" at each show to honor those that have been lost.
Maroon 5 was one of many incredible sets in a star-studded lineup that hit the stage on the first night of the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival. Other artists wowing audiences both in person and tuning in to iHeartMedia radio stations across the country over the two-day event include Tate McRae, Ed Sheeran, LL COOL J, Mariah Carey, Bryan Adams, Diplo, Jelly Roll, Bailey Zimmerman, BigXthaPlug, Justice, Sammy Hagar, GloRilla, John Fogerty, Tim McGraw and The Offspring.
In case you missed it, or just want to relive it all again, fans can tune in to an iHeartRadio Music Festival special, including highlights from the music mega weekend, on Hulu on Thursday, October 2nd.
