Jessica Simpson is "glad" one of her relationships is 100 percent in the past.
The Dukes of Hazzard actress threw major shade at her ex-boyfriend Tony Romo earlier this month after they recently reconnected to address a shared responsibility. According to People, a fan video captured Simpson calling out the former NFL quarterback while performing at the 2025 Women Who Rock Benefit Concert at Stage AI in Pittsburgh.
"A couple weeks ago my mom got a phone call. And he's calling my mom, saying, 'Well, Tina, I'm selling the boat.' And my mom's like, 'Okay, and?'" she explained. "He's like, 'Well, Jessica's name is still on the title.' So, then I get paperwork, and I have to sign over this boat for him to sell."
The "With You" singer, who dated Romo from 2007 to 2009 following her divorce from ex-husband Nick Lachey, reportedly bought Romo a $100,000 speedboat in 2009 for his 28th birthday. Once the process of signing over the boat was finally over, it appears that there was no loved lost between the exes.
"And guess what he gave me as a thank you? Plastic cups," Simpson said. "I'm like, 'Wow, I'm glad we didn't work out.'"
Simpson eventually moved on with estranged husband Eric Johnson; however, the pair announced their separation in January after 10 years of marriage. They share three children: daughters Maxwell, 13, and Birdie, 6, and son Ace, 12.
