Amid rumors that Jessica Simpson's marriage to Eric Johnson is on the rocks, Jessica's sister, Ashlee Simpson, is here to shut those rumors down.
While out with her husband, Evan Ross, in Beverly Hills, TMZ asked Ashlee about the Jessica/Eric split rumors, and if there was any truth to them. Ashlee simply replied, "No."
Recently, Jessica sparked rumors that her marriage was in trouble as she shared several photos to her Instagram from a Nashville studio, teasing that she had new music on the way. She wrote very cryptically, "Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic. This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve."
While fans mostly expressed they were excited for Jess' comeback, several fans asked in the comments if Simpson was referring to her marriage with the caption (particular the word "singular"), with one fan writing, "Is this j simp saying she’s single?" While another wrote, "Sounds like a breakup album to me."
Jessica was also spotted with out her wedding rings recently, which has also fueled rumors.
Simpson and Johnson have been married for ten years after tying the knot in July 2014 after dating for four years. They share three children together, Maxwell (12), Ace (11) and Birdie (5).
