The Post and Courier is reporting that South Carolina retail stores and beach access points will be allowed to reopen on Tuesday. Governor McMaster is expected to hold a press conference Monday, to issue the reopening orders.
This new set of orders will apply to department stores, florists, flea markers, furniture stores, bookstores, music stores, and a number of other non-essential essential businesses. The newspaper cites the number of cases of COVID-19, as the infection rates are slowing enough, that reopening businesses are possible.
The newspaper says social distancing will be enforced on South Carolina beaches.
