The 2020 Oscars are set to deliver some theatrical performances during the upcoming ceremony.

On Thursday (January 23), Academy show producers Lynette Howell Taylor and Stephanie Allain announced that Elton John, Cynthia Erivo, Idina Menzel, This Is Us star Chrissy Metz, and Randy Newman will all be performing their nominated songs during the show at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood. While Elton will sing "(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again" from Rocketman, Erivo will perform "Stand Up" from Harriet, Metz will sing "I'm Standing With You" from Breakthrough and Newman will deliver "I Can't Let You Throw Yourself Away" from Toy Story 4. Meanwhile, Menzel will be joined by pop star Aurora to perform "Into The Unknown from Frozen 2.

While it's not always the case, it has become tradition for the year's Best Original Song nominees to perform throughout the ceremony. Additionally, the show will feature an appearance by Questlove and a guest-conducted segment from Eímear Noone, who is the first woman to conduct during an Oscars telecast.
