Nike Is Making Shoes Specifically For Those In The Medical Field

Nike's latest shoes set to be on the market in December are called the Air Zoom Pulse, and they are specifically made for those in the medical field. Nike typically markets towards athletes, but they claim they wanted to cater to "everyday heroes" with these shoes for nurses, doctors, medics, and home health professionals.

The shoes feature elastic straps on the back to make them easy and quick to put on, plus they are made of material that is resistant to spills.

Nike said in a statement: "Nurses, for example, walk approximately four to five miles and sit for less than an hour during the course of a 12-hour shift. The work is physically and mentally demanding. The design for the Air Zoom Pulse tackles those challenges with simplicity in mind."
