Janie Howell from the Mayor's office in Lamar called the 103X studios around 9am and alerted us to the fact that they are under a boil water advisory. Howell said there wasn't just a leak, but a "gush" that they are currently working to get fixed, but in the meantime everyone in Lamar needs to boil their water.

The Lamar water system has experienced multiple line breaks Thursday morning which have resulted in a significant loss of water, according to town officials.
Officials said as a precautionary measure they are asking customers to boil water before using for consumption.
Some neighbors said they have little to no water.
