The Billy Graham Evangelistic Assn. is Delivering Supplies to the Bahamas

Mister Rogers said “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, and my mother would say to me, "Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.”

Hurricane Dorian is still churning on it's path of destruction, but we've seen and heard so many stories about "the helpers" already. Everything from the cruise lines donating millions of dollars, to the American Red Cross Dorian text donations, and now Billy Graham's Evangelistic Association.

Billy Graham's Rapid Response Team was created after 9/11 because at that time there weren't enough chaplains and help to respond to the crisis. They created a team comprised of men and woman who can respond to a crisis anywhere, at anytime. Franklin Graham, who is the President of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association just tweeted

In the Bahamas, our DC-8 delivered its first round of relief supplies that are now being loaded onto a barge that will transport them to Abaco Island. Please continue to pray for our team on the ground as we help those who are suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.

God bless the helpers!
