Beware of the Dangers of Flooding Amidst Hurricane Dorian

The South Carolina Department of Public Safety reminds residents to be aware of the high risk and dangers of driving through flooded water. A small vehicle can be swept way in just 12 inches of water. In as little as 6 inches of water you can lose control of your vehicle.

A lot of times a driver may not know how deep the flooding actually is when the road is not visible. 'When flooded, turn around, don't drown'
