So this is happening: Non-meat "meat" is coming to KFC. The chain is testing a vegan version of its fried chicken right down the road from us,in an Atlanta restaurant, starting today. The plant-based chicken comes from Beyond Meat. KFC will be the first national US fast food restaurant to test the company's chicken product. Other restaurants like Burger King and Little Ceasars, have already rolled out a plant-based non-meat by Impossible Foods. But chicken? This is a first.
