Due to the cold temperatures and icy road conditions on secondary roads, the following schools have made the following announcements:
- Dillon School Districts 3 and 4 will operate on a 2 hour delay.
- Darlington County Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay for students and staff.
- Florence School District 1 will operate on a 2 hour delay.
- Florence School District 2 will operate on a 2 hour delay.
- Florence School District 3 will operate on a 2 hour delay. Staff members should report at their normal time.
- Florence School District 4 will operate on a 2 hour delay.
- Florence School District 5 will operate on a 2 hour delay.
- Marion County Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay.
- Georgetown County Schools will be closed.
- Marlboro County Schools will be closed.
- Horry County Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay.
- Carolina Academy in Lake City will operate on a 2 hour delay.
- Robeson County Schools will be closed.
- Scotland County Schools will be closed on Monday January 8
