Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is set to launch a new sandwich competition show called Idiot Sandwich on his YouTube channel. The show will feature celebrity guests competing against each other to create the best sandwich. The series is produced by Fox joint venture Studio Ramsay Global and hosted by Ramsay himself, with episodes launching weekly on his YouTube channel. The show is set to premiere on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

The show's name is inspired by a sketch that Ramsay did on The Late Late Show with James Corden, where he held two slices of bread against Julie Chen's face as he was yelling at her in a kitchen. The sketch went viral and led to the creation of the "idiot sandwich" meme. Ramsay has since capitalized on the meme by selling "idiot sandwich" earmuffs at his Hell's Kitchen restaurant in Las Vegas.

The show will feature a slew of internet celebrities, including comedy duo Rhett & Link, magician Zach King, and social media influencer Lexi Hensler. There are no current plans for the show to make it onto network TV.

It's exciting to see Ramsay expand his culinary empire into the digital space. With over 20 million followers on his YouTube channel, Ramsay is sure to attract a large audience for his new show. We can't wait to see what kind of sandwiches the celebrity guests come up with on Idiot Sandwich!.
