McDonald's To Sell Its Business In Russia

McDonald's is cutting ties with Russia over the Ukraine invasion.

The fast food giant said it will sell off its business in Russia, after pausing operations shortly after the invasion launched two months ago.

In a statement, the company said that "continued ownership of the business in Russia is no longer tenable, nor is it consistent with McDonald’s values".

McDonald's has been operating in Russia for 32 years and has more than 800 restaurants and 62,000 employees there.
