Canadian Drives Stranded U.S. Family 1,000 Miles To Alaska

You've heard of Good Samaritans? How about a Good Canadian - one who drove a stranded American family 1,000 miles to their destination in Alaska.

It started when Lynn Marchessault and her two children loaded up a U-Haul on a drive from Georgia to Fairbanks, Alaska, where her husband was stationed at Fort Wainwright.

After blowing a tire in Wonowon, British Columbia, the family was stranded - until the locals turned to Facebook to find someone to help.

To the rescue came Gary Bath, a ranger who drove the family the final 1,000 miles to Fort Wainwright.
