John Mulaney Says 'SNL' Monologue Got Him A Visit From The Secret Service

Comedian John Mulaney says his Saturday Night Live appearance earlier this year earned him a visit from the Secret Service.

Mulaney's monologue from the February 29th SNL included a joke about Julius Caesar getting stabbed by senators - which resulted in the Secret Service opening an investigation.

He told Jimmy Kimmel "Am I stoked there's a file open on me? Absolutely. Did I enjoy it in the moment? Not so much." Fortunately, Mulaney says he's been cleared.

  • Do you think Mulaney's joke crossed the line? Do you find yourself avoiding political talk in public settings?
