Florida Man With Down Syndrome Becomes First To Finish Ironman Triathlon

A 21-year-old Florida man has made history as the first person with Down syndrome to ever complete a full Ironman Triathlon.

Chris Nikic finished a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, and 26.2-mile run in a single day. He was assigned an Ironman partner of sorts -- who stuck by him during all three sections just in case he needed any assistance.

But, there were no problems and now Nikic is officially listed in the Guinness World Records.
