Ryan Newman remains in serious condition, following crash at Daytona 500.

NASCAR star, Ryan Newman, remains in serious condition at Halifax Medical Center. Doctors have indicated that his injuries are not life threatening.

According to a statement from Roush Fenway Racing:

Daytona Beach, Florida (February 16, 2020) — Ryan Newman is being treated at Halifax Medical Center. He is in serious condition, but doctors have indicated his injuries are not life threatening.
We appreciate your thoughts and prayers and ask that you respect the privacy of Ryan and his family during this time.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation and we will provide more information as it becomes available.

Ryan Newman was on pace to win, and then the race ended with a crash, and Denny Hamlin moving on to win a photo finish, winning back to back Daytona 500's, and his third over all win in the Daytona 500.
