HBO created a cardboard box with holes in it and a shelf so that people can have privacy while they stream their favorite shows. They are actually giving them away free through a Twitter contest to college students, with the idea being that students are more likely to have roommates and feel the need for privacy. Looking at a picture of this box it seems like this might be a made up story from the Onion, but no, it's legit. Sure, there might be plenty of college students looking for a little privacy in their 10 X12 college dorm rooms, but somehow, I feel like more will be happening inside these boxes than just "streaming tv shows."
In fact, I feel like Andy Sandberg might be filing a cease and desist sometime soon.
