The holiday will be here before you know it. Advent calendars are one of my favorite ways to count down to the big day and to get myself in the spirit. Some of my family members have sewn calendars where the kids are able to hang little felt toys. I've also seen calendars where you clothes-pin numbered baubles on a line. My favorite advent calendar of choice, though, has to be the kind I got last year-it had a nice piece of chocolate in Christmas themed shapes for every day of December. It was a nice treat to enjoy at the end of the day that helped keep the stress at bay.
Now, while we indulge we can also let our furbabies indulge. Companies like Sams club have created advent calendars for dogs!
The one from Sam's Club sells for $9.98 and says it contains grain free meat treats. You can buy it HERE.
There are also many similar ones available on Amazon that you can find doing a quick search. See one from Amazon that is re-usable and you fill it with your own treats HERE
Trader Joe's doesn't sell online, but they had one in their stores last year (see it HERE) that sold for $5.99 and contained treats made with salmon and sweet potato. Check stores again this season because we've heard rumors that the dog ones were so popular that they are coming out with cat ones this year, too. The cat treats will be salmon and seaweed.
